Hi, I’m Dena Sanger.

Time to find your true self

Exploring challenges through therapy is an opportunity to reflect upon your situation, your feelings and thoughts in a safe and private setting. Having worked as a psychotherapist for over 20 years, I offer an honest, engaging and non judgemental space to explore those feelings and thoughts. I will be with you on the journey whether short or long, to help you figure out what it is you need to focus on to move forward with your life.

I will approach your individual issues and situations carefully, confidentially, and respectfully. We will work toward understanding the unconscious motivations behind your actions and ways of thinking. We will also delve into the hidden autonomic nervous system responses at the core of your behaviour. Together we will get to the bottom of whatever it is that causes you distress and keeps you from moving on. You will finally get to know the real you, feel more in control and start living.

Having trained extensively in psychodynamic psychotherapy, our work will focus on the unconscious signals that keep you set repeating unhelpful patterns of behaviour that influence your day to day decisions. My practice approach is flexible and tailored for each client as every person is different and requires a different way of working.

Having counselled women and men who are dealing with difficult fertility issues, I am experienced in giving the level of support needed to my clients to maintain the energy and courage of this journey.

I also work extensively with survivors of trauma, generational trauma and childhood emotional neglect.

Life is to be lived and understood, not just endured. It has been a privilege to work with many clients over the years. I look forward to helping you too. Our sessions will be active and engaging and you will feel understood. Let us begin the journey together into your personal exploration.
